The problem
Instant Consult wanted Australians to see a registered doctor by video without leaving home. That meant patients and doctors on the same platform, paying securely, booking a time that works, and a video call that connects reliably, with nothing built yet.
What I built
- Secure sign-up and login for patients and doctors.
- Stripe payments for consultations.
- Appointment booking between patients and doctors.
- Video consultations between patient and doctor.
- The launch itself. Taken from an empty repository to a live product.
How I approached it
Two sides, one schedule.
Patients and doctors see the same appointments from different sides, so bookings had to stay in sync for both.
Launch & after
I built the platform through to launch, and my contract closed after it went live. Instant Consult operates today.
