The problem
Preschoolers learn by doing, and most apps for them are either cluttered with ads or built for older children. Keke Kids had to work for a three-year-old: big targets, no reading required, and something to do in the first second.
What I built
- Tracing games for letters, numbers and shapes, with guided strokes and a “Let’s practice” prompt for each one.
- A colour-and-create canvas with simple brushes.
- Letter matching and a balloon-pop counting game.
- Music and sound feedback on every tap, so the app answers the child.
- A quiet, ad-free design, published on both stores under my own developer accounts.
How I approached it
Designed for small hands.
Every target is large, every screen does one thing, and nothing depends on reading. A wrong tap never punishes; a right one always celebrates.
A product I run myself.
Like SlimAI, Keke Kids is a product I own end to end, from the first build to the store listings. It’s where I learn what a launch really takes before I advise a client.
